About
SolarKhum is run by yunmin, one person, not a company, and is not affiliated with MEA, PEA or any government agency.
Why this site exists
Finding a solar installer meant contacting them one by one and then waiting for each to call back. That was slow and frustrating, so this site lets you fill in one form and wait once for quotes from 3–5 registered installers, with a calculator to see whether solar pays off first.
How the site makes money
Homeowners pay nothing. The site may receive a referral fee from an installer when an installation goes ahead. Prices, payback figures and policy numbers on the site do not depend on which installers pay.
Where the numbers come from
Policy numbers and prices come from official announcements and citable news reports. Every page shows the date it was checked and links its sources. The installer list comes from the utility’s published registry.
